This product has the following features:

1. Easy tilt adjustment

Tilt can be adjusted without detaching camera from equipments such as filter wheel. This not only makes it more convenient to adjust the tilt but also simplifies camera installation and removal.

When we adjust the tilt, we can use either 3-points or 4-points adjustment. When using 4-points adjustment, we can choose the points on the edges of the camera sensor, or the corners of the camera sensor.

2. Broad compatibility

Compatible with cameras and filter wheels from multiple brands.

3. Back focus fine-tuning

The back focus occupied by this product can be finely adjusted within a range of 5.0–5.5 mm, with a resolution of 0.1 mm.

4. Capability to connect the filter wheel from the camera side

When connecting Astroasis Model A filte wheels or Player One filter wheels, screws can be tightened from the camera side.

5. Comprehensive light sealing

Easy light-protection is achieved, covering the tilt adjuster itself, as well as the gaps between the tilt adjuster and the camera, and between the tilt adjust and the filter wheel.

6. Distinctive aesthetic design

Product description

This product consists of three aluminum alloy components. Two components are in red, and the other is in black.

Compatibility with cameras and filter wheels from various brands

One of the red components is a camera connector. The camera connector has multiple screw holes which allow for connection to cameras from various brands. It replaces the orignal front plate of the cameras' tilt adjuster. 

The black component is a filter wheel connector. The filter wheel connector has multiple screw holes which allow for connection to filter wheels from various brands.

When all the three components are combined, this product occupies 5.0~5.5mm back focus which is the same as or very similar to the back focus of the original tilt adjuster of the cameras. Thus it will not increase the occupied back focus or just increases very little (~1mm).

By designning in this way, the tilt adjuster becomes a universal camera connector. It's a universal bridge between the cameras and filter wheels from different brands. The cameras and filter wheels from different brands can be combined by using this product and in a same way, making equipments more reusable and easily connected.

This product is compatible with cameras and filter wheels from Astroasis, Player One, QHYCCD, Touptek, and ZWO. The following table lists the compatible cameras and filter wheels.

Back focus fine-tuning

The another red component is a back focus fine-tuner. It has three raised bosses, while the camera connector features a series of recesses. During assembly, the bosses on the back focus fine-tuner seat into the recesses on the camera connector. These recesses vary in depth across six different levels, with each level differing by 0.1 mm.

By rotating the back focus fine-tuner to the camera connector to engage its bosses with different recesses, users can finely adjust the back focus occupied by this product. This adjustment offers a 0.1 mm resolution within a range of 5.0 to 5.5 mm back focus.

Connect the filter wheel from the camera side

Through the screw holes on the filter wheel connector at Φ80, screws can be tightened from the camera side to connect the tilt adjuster to the Astroasis new Oasis Filter Wheel (i.e., the Model A version).

Connecting the filter wheel from the camera side means that you can attach the filter wheel to the camera without opening the filter wheel itself. This approach helps avoid many tedious tasks, such as repeatedly tightening multiple screws or cleaning the filters. Therefore, even if you don't need to adjust the camera tilt, using this tilt adjuster simply as an adapter between the filter wheel and the camera can still bring significant convenience.

Light-leakage protection

Light-leakage protection between the tilt adjuster and the camera is achieved with light baffle sponge, while an O-ring is used for light-leakage protection between the tilt adjuster and the filter wheel.

Screws for camera and filter wheel connection

The screws for connecting this product to different cameas are already verified and included in the product package. The screws for connecting this product to filte wheels from camera side are also verified and included in the prouct package. This saves lots of time for users to buy and test screws.

Mysterious Star Array

This product has numerous of small holes, forming a pattern reminiscent of the orderly array of stars captured through an APO telescope. This imbues the tilt adjuster with an air of mystery, making it resemble a magical instrument.

Back focus solutions

The back focus can be easily configured when combining the Oasis OAG, Oasis Filter Wheel and Oasis Tilt Adjuster with cameras. The following figures are examples of the back focus solutions.
